Tyco develops, manufactures, tests and delivers methanol injection systems to the customers’ specification. These injection systems can be found on offshore platforms, pipeline applications, chemical plants and elsewhere in the O&G arena.

Each system includes variable flow rates via stroke or motor speed electrically driven diaphram or plunger type metering pumps with remote and local flow adjustment. Also included within the systems are a combination of tubing, pipework, filters, valving, pressure relief devices, calibration and monitoring instrumentation. The systems can also be provided with a Nitrogen blanket storage reservoir and associated instrumentation, CE certified under the pressure equipment directive and ATEX if required.

The systems can be designed to operate at extreme temperatures, for onshore or offshore applications and in hazardous areas.

The bespoke skid mounted design maximises the available space for operation, maintenance, reliability and performance within the allowable footprint.

Pressure vessels for methanol storage are manufactured to ASME VIII or equivalent design codes.

Other features include:

  • Metering injection and transfer pump skids
  • Multiple chemical storage vessels
  • Pump range includes double diaphragm and plunger type conforming to API 675 & 674
  • Variable speed drive pumps
  • Nitrogen blanket storage with associated control and monitoring.
