Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is the largest health organisation in Wales. It provides a full range of primary, community, mental health and acute hospital services for a population of around 676,000 people across North Wales, as well as some parts of mid Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire. It is responsible for the operation of three district general hospitals (Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan and Wrexham Maelor Hospital). This is in addition to 18 other acute and community hospitals and a network of over 90 health centres, clinics, community health team bases and mental health units.
Tyco has significantly upgraded the existing equipment at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board which is the largest health organisation in Wales. New Tyco IP-enabled CCTV cameras and recorders have replaced the old analogue system, while new intruder alarms have also been installed, in addition to a new access control system, which is expandable and can be used in the future to cover a number of the board’s remote sites.
